Fire at Scrap Yard 

In the early hours of Friday 7th October 2011,  firefighters attended Scrap Yard Firea large fire at a scrap metal yard on Alvaston Business Park, Middlewich Road, Nantwich. 

Due to a plume of thick smoke emanating from the scene a number of road closures were put in place by Police.  Residents and motorists were advised to keep windows and doors closed.  There were no reported casualties from the fire.

All agencies worked together to minimise any impact on the community.
